Laksa Johor has its own interesting and epic story behind it. It is because Laksa Johor is a fusion that combines Italian spaghetti and malay style broth. The food has over 100 years of history.

According to the legend, Sultan Abu Bakar who was the king of Johor from 1886 to 1895 was in Europe on official mission. He visited Italy and suddenly fell in love with their food which is Bolognese spaghetti that has been over until now even in Malaysia has been commercially and spread widely. Nowadays, there was a lot of spaghetti that has been market in Malaysia.

Continues with the legend, when Sultan Abu Bakar returned to Johor, he has ordered the Royal Chef to make the dish with the spaghetti. Thus, Laksa Johor was born.
